Another concept moving into the years to come is the idea of a currency distributed to holders to provide additional value to the Flare Community ecosystem. One possibility is to send a portion of the “FC Token” to every holder once every 30 days (in parallel with the live draws) weighted based on the amount of Flare Community Lucky Claw NFT(s) a wallet contains.

An airdropped asset is certainly a huge benefit, but only if that asset has utility.

FC Coin Utility

The initial plans for FC Coin certainly expands beyond the scope of being able to stake / farm in various DeFi platforms. The FC Coin will not be distributed prior to the development of utility, meaning the asset will have value from the very first day.

Examples of utility could include (but is not limited to):

• Governance
• Exclusive NFTs

• FC Merch / Physical Items

• 1-on-1 Zoom Calls (Tuition / Guidance)

• Collaboration / Sponsorship Utility Potential (MetaVerse)

• Access to Flare Community Poker Tournament (50,000 SGB Prize Pool)

Long-Term Value

One interesting use case for this asset could be the requirement for Sponsors to have a mandatory requirement of X amount of FC Coin (in addition to other assets). This would provide long-term upwards pressure for the asset as projects wishing to Sponsor the Flare Community brand and gain exposure would be required to buy FC Coin if they do not hold Lucky Claw NFT(s).
